I started to build my full indoor hydroponics growing set-up with the purchase of the eSupereGrow unit on Amazon. The unit comes with a strong plastic frame which can be used to direct plants upwards, a reservoir holding 6.4 liters of nutrient fluid, three grow sites – each containing a clay grow block, a built-in pump and packages of nutrients that must be dissolved in water.
I am planning on setting up four identical growing units in my living room on a single 1.2 X .75 meters. This will provide sufficient space to mount the LED grow lights (Barrina 80W with 12 X .61 meter light fixtures that can be daisy-chained to a single outlet). The lights will be on each of the three tiers of the plastic frame above the reservoir.
The two images in this post show how the set-up looks. I have added one set of the LED grow lights in the second image to show how it will look.
The left-most unit (1) has Tom Thumb peas, the middle unit (2) has tomatoes in the front grow site and sweet yellow peppers in the rear two sites. The right-hand unit has tomatoes planted in the front unit and cucumber plants in the rear two growing sites.
